Bronwyn’s yoga journey commenced almost twenty-years ago following physical therapy from a foot injury. The physical therapist recommended yoga and suggested the practice would help restore strength, physical balance, and confidence. It wasn’t long after Bronwyn started practicing that she was enamored and passionate about the practice. Health and fitness is a high priority for Bronwyn. “Yoga provides me freedom internally and externally and has facilitated several beautiful adventures and opportunities in the recent years.” Also, the breathing techniques utilized in yoga assisted in facilitating Bronwyn’s recovery while battling an upper-respiratory disease.
Recognized by Women’s Health Magazine as an Action Hero, Bronwyn was selected along with 60 other women Nationally who are fitfluencers, innovative, community oriented, trendsetters, and who posses a passion for wellness. Evolve Yoga was also recognized in the Huffington Post as a go-to yoga studio in the Coachella Valley. Palm Springs Life Magazine selected Evolve Yoga, “Best of the Best” yoga studios, 2016. Evolve Yoga also received the “Best Yoga Studio” by Coachella Valley Weekly newspaper, 2015. Lululemon athletica named Bronwyn an Ambassador for 2012/2013 and 2014. LARABAR, gluten-free snack bars, recognized Bronwyn as an Ambassador in 2014.
Bronwyn attended Arizona State University and is a Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the prestigious Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. As a former news anchor and reporter, interviews include celebrities, politicians, professional athletes, and Bronwyn’s favorite, everyday people like you and me.
While remaining passionate about her television career, it is likely you will see Bronwyn hosting a TV wellness program, hosting, moderating, speaking or emceeing an event. She is also a weekly health and wellness columnist and you can read her blogs in CV Weekly and on the Evolve Yoga website.
Bronwyn maintains a passion for healthy living. She desires to connect and inspire others to achieve overall health and balanced living.

(Certified Ananda Yoga Instructor) Doryan Dean’s niche is teaching “beginner yoga”, reaching those who are not very fit or need to learn how to relax and take the helm of the mind and body, by trying out simple meditation practices well known throughout the world. She has been teaching beginning yoga classes in dozens of venues over the past decade, including to children as young as two. She has also taught meditation and chair yoga in the hospital setting. Doryan began the study of yoga as a teenager in the Beverly Hills studio of Yogi Alan Finger, and she was certified to teach by Ananda in Northern California in 1997. Her focus is on the health techniques that simple Auyerveda practices and meditation provide for a healthier life.
Doryan has an eclectic background that includes her experiences of being an international model and television regular. Her passion for language has taken the forefront of her career in the past decade, and she is in the midst of publishing her books on etymology (the roots of words). Doryan teaches the “Writer’s Workshop”, from her book “The Writer’s Workbook”, as well as offering Astrological readings for private clients. She has taught “The Writer’s Workshop”, and other creative workshops locally at We Care Spa, Borrego Ranch, and The Enlightened Path.
Susan began her yoga practice 30-years ago as a means to alleviate pain from her professional sports and dance life-style. Susan was a member of Canada’s National Lightweight women’s rowing team from 1982-85. As a RYT-500 Yoga teacher her strength as a teacher derives from a commitment to practice daily. Susan’s classes are a blend of mindful movements that link breath, body and mind. Her goal for you is to develop strength, flexibility, balance, brain integration and awareness to each moment. Beyond physical exercise the practice is a process of blending the mind, body and the breath; pausing or turning off the minds “automatic pilot”. Hence creating a connection to ease into stillness, or an opening of the heart to one’s deeper intentions and to core values. Her hope is to create an environment where students can meet each moment with kindness, joy, integrity, respect and gratitude. Students should expect to feel invigorated, relaxed and aligned.
Susan has studied and practiced with wonderful teachers both in Vancouver, the U.S. and Europe. She is also blessed and inspired by her many students. She teaches classes of yoga and mindfulness at schools, corporations and colleges to seniors, teens and adults of all ages and abilities. She also maintains a private practice of yoga therapy, and yoga massage. She is experienced with resolving and supporting individuals who have or are facing life challenges, such as cancer, PTSD, anxiety, grief, arthritis and attention difficulties.
She completed additional certification training from Spirit Rock Meditation Centers Mindful Meditation and Yoga Training Program in 2012
Currently she is in her 2nd year of completing a Masters in Integral Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies in SF.
Susan feels great fortune to be a recent resident to Palm Desert. Her greatest teacher at the moment is her 11 year old daughter, who keeps her busy and in the ongoing practice of loving kindness, patience, gratitude and curiosity.
I have practiced yoga for the last 20 years. I received my certification through Prana Yoga (an affiliate of Yoga works) and studied under Gerhard Gessner in La Jolla, California. I have completed workshops in pre-natal yoga (with Vick Abrams, LLC), in yoga sutras (with Robert Birnberg), and in restorative yoga (with Dr. Ingrid Yang). I continue to study the yoga sutras and consistently look for ways to apply yoga principles in my life, not only as an instructor, but, as a mom, and a flight attendant.
I am, at my core, a health and wellness advocate, mentor and teacher. Physical and emotional well being is the key to thriving in my own life and I love to be able to share that with my students and clients.
I have my 200 RYT with Yoga Alliance as well as certifications in Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Yoga For Golfers and Wellness Coaching. I am also a regular contributor to several online magazines including yoganonymous.com, Addiction Unscripted and Medium.
When I am not teaching, I am chasing around my 3 rescue pups and my 5 year old son. *That* is a work out in and of itself.
I love the quote: “Yoga isn’t about touching your toes but what you learn on the way down.” For me, it’s not about athletic achievement or the perfect shape of the postures but the stilling of my Monkey Mind! When I have the ability to be still, amidst all of life’s challenges, that is my trophy, my success, my “winning”.

Jenny began her Yoga journey more than 10 years ago. Jenny says, “I immediately noticed a difference not only in my body, but in my mind as well. It became very important to share what I knew with others!”
Although, Jenny is fairly new to the La Quinta area, she loves her new surroundings and calls the desert her home.
Besides practicing yoga, Jenny keeps busy performing Feng Shui consultations, writing a weekly column for CV Weekly, and is a substitute teacher in elementary schools. When asked what yoga means to her, “With all the chaos in our lives, it’s so great to have a practice that balances us out. It’s wonderful to have my mind, body and soul united as one. Yoga does that for me.”
Through all the changes that have taken place in her life, yoga has been the only constant!

Jenn Hansen, originally from Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, recently moved to California to pursue her passion in health and fitness. Jenn trained in classical ballet and danced at the University of Arizona. Always having a strong passion for fitness outside of dance she began teaching dance and movement classes, and has continued to pursue her passions teaching yoga, barre, spin, circuits, and personal training. Jenn loves sharing her passion for movement and hopes to inspire and motivate others to feel confident, strong, and healthy, not only physically but mentally as well! She’s inspired each day by her fellow teachers and clientele who are always open to trying new movements and loves seeing new faces, the smiles and stories of feeling better.
Andrew Schultz, a Nebraska-born Californian who considers himself 50% “Businessman” and 50% “Yogi”, is a yoga enthusiast turned instructor with a passion for helping others in the most healthy and positive ways.
Andrew teaches yoga and meditation at Power Yoga Palm Springs, Ace Hotel & Swim Club, Schools, and recently just started a “teens and tweens” program teaching kids, along with teaching at different recovery centers throughout Coachella Valley for people battling addiction. Andrew also works full-time for Lululemon Athletica in Palm Desert.
Prior to moving to Palm Springs in April 2015, Andrew spent the past 14 years living in San Diego, CA working alongside senior corporate executives and leaders at top global companies in the areas of conscious leadership and marketing, sustainability, corporate social accountability, nutritional leadership, strategic planning and international supply chain management.
In his personal time Andrew works with others battling addiction and is very active in the recovery community including places like Betty Ford Center.
